 ether to turn trash into treasure and transform cleanup into creativity!Ca
 rnegie One Braddock is partnering with municipalities across our service a
 rea to add a creative twist to their annual spring cleanup days by gamifyi
 ng litter pickup. Community members will be encouraged to collect not only
  trash, but also unique, colorful, or interesting items they discover alon
 g the way—setting aside special finds for a larger creative purpose. The
 se cleanup efforts will take place in the weeks leading up to our Trash to
  Treasure event on May 9.Carnegie One will gather the collected objects an
 d invite the community to transform them into a collaborative piece of pub
 lic art during two hands-on sessions on May 9 and May 16. Participants fro
 m outside the immediate area are also welcome to contribute by bringing th
 eir own found materials to incorporate into the project.The first session 
 will focus on creative design, as participants work together to envision a
 nd plan a mosaic inspired by the collected materials. During the second se
 ssion, the group will assemble and install the final piece, bringing the s
 hared vision to life. The completed artwork will be displayed at Carnegie 
 One in Braddock as a celebration of community, sustainability, and creativ
 e reuse.
